I've been a vegetarian since 2000. I spent two years experimenting with food prior to going vegetarian. I used a daily meditation practice to gauge the affects of my diet on my mental and physical well being during a time when I had very little other inputs changing. Thus isolating affects was easier to do. When I ate healthy vegetarian food my thoughts about myself were more positive, my negative and judgmental thoughts about others around me diminished.
Breakfast
Green Powder in Water
Put a scoop or two of organic green powder in a glass of non-toxic water. Drink. Breakfast.
The body only expresses hunger when it's lacking energy and/or nutrients to create energy. Thus, if you are clever enough to pull enough from the aether you need no food. People have done it! Yes. If i'm generally rested and taking care of myself, this can hold me until lunch or dinner.
Lemon Juice, Maple Syrup, Cayane Pepper in Water (ref: Master Cleanse Diet)
Add 1 to 2 ounces of Dark Organic Maple Syrup (they manipulated this too), the same amount of Fresh Lemon Juice and Powdered Organic Cayane pepper with 8 ounces of filtered water. Cold. Room Temp. Warm. Drink your Breakfast. This drink is related to the Master Cleanse Diet but it makes for a great meal anytime. I have found drinking at night before I go to bed eliminates my need to pee in middle of night? Sugar processing? (more later)

Greens + Fruit + Veggies & (Chocolate) Protein Powder >> Blend !! >> Drink!
Start with a small handful of spinich, lettuce or other greens. Add a small amount of fresh fruit of your choice. Add protien powder (if desired). My personal favorite is Chocalate from a very reputable Nutritional Supplement company. Add cucumber, diced ginger, cayane peper or other. Learn about the nature of food (warming, cooling, drying, mostening, etc). I'm no expert with that part, but I know it makes a difference by drying myself out with herbs a few times?! A Vitamix is the high end blender. Most who have purchased them swear by them. Basically they can just "blend better". It can be viewed as an expensive investment. Try a lower cost blender first if needed. You may find they don't chop up the greens and liquify things quite as well. That is the major difference functionally.
Tong Kim's - Vegan Rainbow Ssambap - ( He says Humans are supposed to live 170 years!)
In early 2015 h and i went to Tong Kim's opening of his motel in Carmel Valley Lodge. He eats the same Vegan dish three meals a day. He believes humans are supposed to live to be 170 years old. He believes Lemons are the food of gods! He worked as: A barber to pay for college in S. Korea. a Bank Assistant Manager and Kitchen Assistant. Then he was a Gas Station and Grocery Store Owner. He was robbed three times. Said the secret to not getting shot was to avoid eye contact. Now he's a Motel Owner and Rainbow Ssambap Creator!

Egg Plates - ( Organic Eggs from Non-Caged Animals only )
Chickens were originally only for egg production. They were genetically modified in the 1930's to be consumed by humans as meat. That comes as a shocking surprise to many. What did everyone eat prior to then? More vegetables, of course. Non-fertilized eggs can make for a good breakfast for some. Add some steamed or fried vegetables and it makes for a nice meal. Hispanic cultures have consumed corn tortillas and even natural white tortillas for centuries with success. The lemon/lime used with every meal seems to mitigate health issues related to flour for them. That's all I can figure out at this time.
Lunch
Half or Full meal with Spinach or Mixed Greens with or without Veggies + dressing - ( 1 pt oil - 1 pt balsamic vinegar - 1 pt rice vinegar)
Half Plate of Brown Rice topped with Beans and/or Veggies OR any other non-meat, non-carb food product that makes sense for a good lunch!
Dinner
For me, by dinner time I've typically had my greens. I might have a side salad but I often focus on other items. A base of brown rice is common. Steamed or Fried Veggies (Coconut Oil). Baked brussel sprouts, asparagus, and/or sweet potatos with a little balsamic vinegar. I've even become fond of making a few India Dishes like Saag Paneer (substitute tofu or tempeh for cheese) and Chana Masala. Imagine that. Maybe that connection comes from a prior life or something.
Cheating Good..
I enjoy the processed and fake meats. I enjoy veggie corn-dogs. I enjoy pizza. I enjoy a lot with carbs and sugar. I just try to space it all apart and be mindful of my weight. For every 7-10 pounds I gain or lose I experience dramatic shifts in baseline consciousness. I've been as high as 190 at my worst in the mid 1990s. For this COVID stuff I'm in the 155 range. My typical range has been around 162-167 for the past few years. Whenever I get ready to publish I tend to drop 5-7 pounds. Isn't that weird? What's that about?
